We are licensed as a bus operator so that our visitors can enjoy rides on some of our exhibits. This means that we can hire out the exhibits licensed as PSVs for appropriate trips. Your bus would be supplied with both driver and conductor and is ideal for that special event.

Remember, however, that they are restored museum exhibits so they are not suitable for booze tours or late evening jollies! Usually, we only undertake hires within reasonable traveling distance of the museum.

Wedding and Civil Partnership Ceremonies:
We appreciate that everything on your special day has to be exactly right and your guests have to be in the right place at the right time. Our buses are maintained to the highest standards but that does not make them immune from the unexpected, such as a puncture etc. For our peace of mind as well as yours, we will only undertake hires for weddings and civil partnership ceremonies within a 5 mile radius of the Museum. Any enquiry should be made at least 6 months in advance as we will need to check for obstacles on the route and at the church. We are unable to provide transport post-reception.

For private enquiries, please write to us with a SAE, ring or e-mail us. We will wish to know the following information:

• Hirer's name
• Contact details (address, phone no, email address)
• Kind of party (e.g. birthday etc.)
• Number of passengers
• Date of hire
• Pick-up point
• Time of pick-up
• Destination
• Is there a return journey?
• Time hire will end
• Are there any low trees, bridges, narrow accesses that you are aware of?
