PRIVATE HIRE
During the course of 2008 the Museum has been lucky enough to gain a considerable amount of income from Private Hires. Whilst the Museum remains very selective about how our vehicles are used, we have managed to gain considerable publicity from this particular area.
Over the past twelve months we have provided buses for a number of weddings, the hosting of Ajax Football Club directors, celebration of the BBC "Country File" programme, (yes, John Craven was a passenger on both the L5G and S23 5956!) and many more.
May I record my thanks to everybody who has assisted me in 2008 and we look forward to more success in 2009!
