OWE271K Bristol VRT / East Lancs Sheffield Transport 271 (Phil Ireland)
It is some time since I have reported progress on this bus. Over the last year all the upper deck seats have been taken out, repainted and refitted, completing work on the upper deck. Earlier this year a mechanical check was made by Dave Parry and remedial work done where necessary. Both fuel tanks needed repair and have been removed and refitted. After a test run the bus was taken for Class V test on 27 October and passed.
