West Bromwich 101 now has a 1969 side blind fitted (which replaces a much later WMPTE one); many thanks to Barry Ware for supplying this. 101 is fitted with a standard WMPTE four-track front number box and a one-piece West Bromwich number blind (or, indeed, the whole number blind mechanism) is required to restore to original. If anyone has such a blind and would be willing to donate it please do let us know.
Recent donations to the BaMMOT collection are a 1971 Quinton 44-inch blind and a 1983 Cotteridge lower blind, both found in a store in Brentwood, Essex, and both willingly donated by the owner as he didn't know how they arrived there anyway!
Malcolm Keeley has recently compiled a list of suggested changes to blinds carried by certain vehicles so that blinds will match up with the allocation of the buses when with BMMO or BCT or WMPTE. This job will be carried out as time permits over the next few weeks.
