SOS - Stop Press: Roger de Boer has identified the Maltese SOS pictured in ‘Omnibus’ 143, December 2001. The 65 year old chassis is that of GHA 323. It arrived on the island in 1958, already fitted with a Gardner engine. If you fancy a ride on it, be quick. Its MAN replacement has already been delivered and the old SON will be consigned for scrap in the next few weeks.
